• Established working relationship with Pirelli strategic partners regarding FTTH based on Passive Optical Network (PON) technology. Developed a Sales presentation, brochure and training package to highlight Pirelli’s unique position and capabilities.
• Led introduction and customer trials of Pirelli’s EoVDSL product line to expand and diversify Pirelli’s business and product offering in North America. Established and managed pricing strategy.
• Managed and led the development and implementation of commercial and technical strategies for optical fibers for North America, based on emerging technologies and market needs.
• Conducted literature review to determine a procedure for eliminating or reducing seeds in blanks. Resulting experiments and process improvements led to a cost saving of $782,000/yr. Received a Division Cash Award from this project.
